Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.
Starting 2011 - we can get into it like a lost sheep or WE CAN Make up our Mind we are going to do it Big , we are going to do it Different.
So, I decided to go for the second. What did you decide?
The way I look at it : If what we are doing isn't working the way we want it to work, don't be afraid to change it , start approaching it a little different, right?
Sounds easy enough.
I mean Commitment to a New Goal it's easy, no big deal (especially for the first 2 weeks of the New Year ha,ha,ha) but buying into it, keep our commitment, creating new habits and beliefs not so.
Choosing New Habits and committing to a new way of doing things is an Art I would say.
So if you decided to do it different and by that I mean do it better and bigger this year, here are some aspects you could incorporate in the process, because changing habits is a process, a system.
1. Don't change things by fighting existing reality, to change things you need to create a New Model - that makes the existing model obsolete.
2. Write it down - make your commitment in writing, sign it and give your written commitment to someone you respect and trust - This is like a Policy against failure. Make 2 copies and keep one.
3. Read your commitment out loud every morning - first thing in the morning and just before going to bed.
And here we go getting into Habits again...hum, fun part begins.
P.S. Now make sure your signature means something, something as simple as keeping your promise to yourself will build or chip at YOUR SELF IMAGE.
