Choose Beliefs that support where you are going in life.

Choose Beliefs that support where you are going in life.

What are beliefs anyways?

Beliefs are simply thoughts we keep thinking nothing more, they are not "The Truth" they are just something we told ourselves often enough, until we started to believe them.
Over our lifetime we accumulate many beliefs, some that support and help us and others that hurt us.
I find that the beliefs that hurt us the most are some of the beliefs we have about ourselves.
So how and why would I hurt myself?
Let me give you a little example : many years ago in your childhood someone said to you "You are so disorganized" or "You will never be like...",or "You are just like ....." so you hear statements like this a few times and then you start looking for evidence to support that statement, and of course because when you are looking for something you'll find it, you keep noticing evidence of that.
Little do we know that all we need to do is just stop affirming that to ourselves and start looking for things that we believe are our strengths.
If you are on the wrong track, all you have to do is STOP and find a better track.
It is in your hands and in your best interest to empower yourself my friends, or you can keep doing the opposite.
So what do you choose starting today?

If what you are doing isn't working the way you want it to work, don't be afraid to change it , start approaching it a little different.

If you want to do better this year than you did last year, you must choose thoughts and beliefs that will take you in a different direction, right?

So, starting today, compliment yourself, use superlatives when you think and speak about yourself, choose beliefs that support where you are going in life.
It is in your hands and it is up to you.

How are you doing on that?

  1. I found you on Giselle's site (Break Free). I want to follow you because your words inspire and invoke ideas to become better or greater than who we are or who we think we are. Thanks.
